We Believe In

  • Our Safety Record
Solstice obtained its Partnerships in Health and Safety Certificate of Recognition (COR) through the Alberta Construction Safety Association in December 2003. We became IRP 16 Certified through the Canadian Petroleum Safety Council in April 2005. All field supervisors are trained in Leadership for Safety Excellence through the Alberta Construction Safety Council.
  • Our Team
At Solstice we recognize that people are the source of our strength. We are committed to creating an environment that promotes teamwork, innovation and trust. We help our people reach their career goals in a culture that offers:
    - Enjoyable work
    - Fair remuneration (competitive wage and shared profits)
    - Continuous learning
    - Quality work
    - A balanced lifestyle
    - Safe work practices
  • The Environment
Solstice employs people who are highly skilled, trained and passionate about the environment. We believe that no matter who we individually are, we all share a common interest - our planet earth. We believe that all people have an inherent responsibility to minimize their impact on the planet through the way we choose to live our lives and operate our businesses. As one of our associates says, “we want to save the earth one acre at a time”.

  • Customer Service
We believe that success is not measured only by prosperity, but also by client satisfaction. Our company size enables Solstice to be flexible in adapting to changes in project direction. We customize our services according to the type of project and specific client needs. As such, we have many strategic alliances with proven industry leaders in environmental services consulting.
  • Accountability and Ethics
We are bound by the Code of Practice and Code of Ethics of the professional organizations that we belong to. Ultimately though, we believe that professionalism is an attitude and not a designation.
